He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Mathis and Emma Mathis (Snyder); and his siblings, Harold, George, Richard Mathis, Doris Kelp, Beulah Austin and Connie Sue Mathis.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Mathis (Allender); his son Ronnie Mathis (Jamie); his grandchildren, Lauren and Coleman Mathis; and his sisters, Sarah Smith, Mary Lucas (Darrell) and Bonnie Rihm (John). He is also survived by his wife, son and daughter-in-law, grandkids.
