He is survived by: his husband Benjamin Watkins; his siblings, Joseph Nathan Garrett (Julie) of Winter Garden and Vickie Lynn Garrett-Buti (Paul) of Valrico, Florida; and his great-nephew Grant. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
