It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James C. Gray (Nashville, Indiana), born in Middleton, Tennessee, who passed away on December 10, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry F. Gray and Mamie P. Crawford Gray. He is survived by: his wife Frances R. Coay; his children, Lauri Schmohl of Huntsville, Ala, Chris Gray (Marion) of Warren and Matt Gray (Amy) of Nashville; his grandchildren, Brienne Babcock (Derek), Evan Carter (Laura), Daniel Gray (Sakina), Chelsey Tyson (Stuart), Hannah Gray, Josie Gray and Tanner Gray; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Carter and Charley Ann Tyson.
His final years were lived with the challenges of dementia, and in response to that, the family asks that donations be made to the Dementia Action Alliance 501c3 organization, whose own reason for being is to help people live well with dementia. daanow.org/donate-now.
