It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fern Marie Hendershot (Nashville, Indiana), who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall "Doc" Sprague and Margaret Sprague; her husband Roy Basil; and her grandson Matthew Dyer. She is survived by: her children, Edward Hendershot (Brenda) of Nashville, IN, Roy Hendershot (Mary) of Columbus, IN, Betty Dyer (Ernie) of Spencer, IN, Joe Hendershot (Tina) of Nashville, IN, Thomas Hendershot (Brenda) of Kerrville, TX and Mark Hendershot (Vicki) of Nashville, IN.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International or IU Health Bloomington Hospice.
