She was predeceased by: her siblings, Frederick George Waldschmidt and Vera Waldschmidt; her great-nephew Jon Trent Waldschmidt; and her parents, August Waldschmidt and Vera Waldschmidt.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Doris A. Waldschmidt; her nieces and nephews, Dr. Frederick Waldschmidt (Nancy), Susan Sample (Scott), Maria Waldschmidt, Sally MacDonald (Michael), Jon Waldschmidt (Aileen), Kathy Waldschmidt and Anthony Waldschmidt (Jennifer); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sara Lasier (Nick), Mark MacDonald (Meghan), Laura Davis (Sean), Christian, Thomas (Hannah), Jack (Caitlyn), Luke and Zach Waldschmidt; and also, Stella, Phoebe Waldschmidt, Beau Lasier, Rory MacDonald and Enzo Davis.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home (18230 Dixie Hwy, Homewood, IL 60430). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Homewood Memorial Garden Cemetery (600 Ridge Rd, Homewood, IL 60430).
