He is survived by: his sons, Mark Kauffman (Jennifer) of Goshen, IN, Mike Weaver of Corpus Christie, TX, Gary Kauffman (Shelli) of Bremen, IN and Vernon Kauffman, Jr. (Lisa) of Nappanee; his grandchildren, Joseph Kauffman, Kenneth Kauffman (Lindsie), Kristopher Kauffman, Kimberly Sharpless (Nolan), Grant Kauffman, Brenna White (Nick) and Kaitlyn Kauffman; and his siblings, Mary Hershberger, Clara Borkholder, David, Harvey, Floyd, Steve and Norman Kauffman.
Memorial contributions in Vernon's name can be given to the Nappanee Conservation Club.
