He was predeceased by: his parents, George, Jr. Grimm and Hariett Grimm (Fogel); his stepson Robert Allen; and his brothers, Charles "Chuck" and Jim Grimm.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Shields; his children, Mike Grimm of Holland, MI and Kari Cowan (Jeff) of Syracuse, IN; and his stepchildren, Ronald Rendall of Syracuse and Maureen Rendall (Kevin Balsley) of Nappanee. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
