He is survived by: his wife Edna Schwartz; his children, Homer (Etta Fern) of Nappanee, Goshen of Nappanee, Larry Schwartz (Nancy) of Nappanee, Ernest Schwartz (Betty) of Nappanee, Howard Schwartz (Velma) of Nappanee, Dennis Schwartz of Nappanee, Etta Hochstetler of Nappanee, Owen Schwartz of Nappanee, Harley Schwartz of Nappanee, John Schwartz (Esther) and Bremen; and his sister Lovina Helmuth.
