Elizabeth J. Tyson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth J. Tyson of Nappanee, Indiana, who passed away on November 30, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Miller and Amanda Miller (Schmucker); her husband Erwin Tyson; her daughter Verlyn Reinhardt; her granddaughter Rose Marie Hofstetter; and her siblings, Edward Miller, Marvin J. Miller, Lester Miller, Joe Miller, Fannie Mae Miller and Mary Matthews.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Demis (Jim), Sharon Layman (Jerrold) of Quicksburg, VA, Mary Hofstetter (Steve), Milford and Don Tyson (Carolyn); her son-in-law Vernon "Bud" Reinhardt of Waddell, AZ; her grandchildren, Steve, Kirby Reinhardt, Donnie, Daryl Tyson, Dorena Mullins (Tyson), Christopher, Darren Demis, Brian, Nathan Layman, Deena Petre (Layman), Micah, Jesse Bethany and Hannah Hofstetter; her brother Eli Miller (Connie) of Sarasota, FL; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Miller-Martin (Wilmer) of Sarasota, FL and Marvin D. Miller. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to World Missionary Press.
