It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris J. Chokey of Nappanee, Indiana, born in Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lee and Bonnia Lee (Hicks); her husband Robert Chokey; and her sister Terri Reasoner. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Chokey (Brenda) of Bloomington, IN, Robin Hawkes of Nappanee and Darin Chokey (Maria) of Chandler, AZ. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
