He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Rueckert and Elizabeth Rueckert; and his sister Beverly Carbonare. He is survived by: his wife Helen Rueckert; his children, Janet Darrar (Duke) and Wayne M. Rueckert (Debra); his grandchildren, Kurt, Danielle and Lauren (Dakota); and his great grandchildren, Noah, Averie and Cameron. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
