It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Van Der Wey of Munster, Indiana, who passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Mary Van Der (Hobbic); his parents, Catherine Wey (Soll) and Clarence Van Der Wey; his sisters, Charlotte Pool and Patricia Van Der Wey; his children, Ken Van Der (Christina), Leane Darnell (Tommy) and Greg Van Der (Sally); and his grandchildren, Will, Jackie, Kirsten and Andrew Van Der Wey.
