He was predeceased by: his wife Arlene Evers; his siblings, Wilma Candilas (late George), Tom Evers (late Rita), Dorothy Kampe (late Norman) and Wesley Evers (Sharon); and his parents, Thomas Evers and Dora Evers.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Evers (Lori), Jeffrey Evers (Vicki) and Renee Hoeksema (late David); his grandchildren, Kristin Planer (Adam), Karissa Hook (Tyler), Nicole Sandeen (Nile), Sarah Van Brussel (Brian), Michelle Katzberg (Philip), Amanda Van Laar (Jonathon), Lorelli Hoeksema, Allyssa Hoeksema and Mary Nardi (Michael); and his siblings, John Evers (late Alice), Edward Evers (late Carrie) and Phyllis (late Louis Bruinsma).
