He was predeceased by: his son Steve Karnezis; his grandson Yiorgo Karnezis; and his parents, Stylianos and Nicoletta (Papadopoulos). He is survived by: his wife Julia; and his children, Diane Cooper (Kenneth), Phillip Karnezis and Georgia Karnezis (late Steve). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, Godchildren, cousins and close family friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church or to the Memorial Fund FBO Yiorgo Karnezis Scholarship in his memory would be appreciated.
