She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Janiga; her siblings, Louise Jayjack and Andrew Kulesa; and her great grandchild Ava Scheckel. She is survived by: her children, Amy Cornell (Bud) of Vero Beach, FL, Bridget Scheckel (Steve) and Mark Janiga (Linda); her great grandchildren, Hattie Scheckel, Hunter Cope, Olivia Scheckel and Piper Scheckel; and her siblings, Michaline Kasenga and John Kulesa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
