With solemn reverence, we commemorate Marvin Hays (Munster, Indiana), whose life came to an end on April 6, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard P. Hays and Dorothy Hays; his siblings, Leonard Hays (Eileen) and Virginia Kubacki; and his in-laws, Ed Dernulc, Ann Rivich (Bill), Joann Zurek (Stan), Betty Soltis (Chester) and Dawn Berdine.
He is survived by: his wife Gerrie; his daughters, Sherry Hays-Clarke (James Clarke), Jill Hays (Jim Tukich) and Dona Hays-Smith (David Smith); his grandchildren, Jacob Smith (Sarah), Emilee Leibering (Caleb), Luke Smith (Jessica), Anna O'Donnell (Matt), Jay Clarke, Major William Clarke (Megan) and Jaclyn Clarke (Jason Clark); and his in-laws, Leroy Dernulc (Becky), Gene Dernulc (Donna), Larry Dernulc (Charlotte), Leonard Dernulc (Jane), Ellen Kranz (Jim) and Julie Dernulc. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Maria Goretti Church (500 Northgate Dr, Dyer, IN 46311).
