He was predeceased by: his wife Claudia. He is survived by: his children, Allison Pellar (Michael Khadivar), David Pellar (Suzanne) and Doug Pellar; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Catherine, Jack, Alex, Sam, Max and Aaron. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Humane Indiana in his memory would be appreciated.
