She was predeceased by: her husband Bill (Bill); her parents, Eugene Cartwright and Mae Emma Cartwright; her siblings, June Bell (Roscoe) and Gene Allen Cartwright (Mary Lou); and her nephews, Tom, Dan Bell and Andy Cartwright.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Zajakowski (Michael), Jennifer Moran, Molly Synnes (Mark) and Mariah Moran; and her grandchildren, Andrew, Emma and Amelia Zajakowski.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kish Funeral Home (10000 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN 46321). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Knock Parish (501 163rd St, Calumet City, IL 60409). A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (1413 169th St, Hammond, IN 46324).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet's name may be made to Hospice of the Calumet Area or Community Services of Northwest Indiana.
