With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Irene Hoffman in Munster, Indiana, who passed away on March 28, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Voyles Coburn Hays and Nittie Irene (Derby); and her brothers, Dwayne Hays, Reverend James Hays (late Carol) and Reverend Robert Hays (Dona).
She is survived by: her child Deanette Benton (Dawn II) of Twenty; her grandchildren, Casey, Matthew Thompson, Reverend Coburn Hoffman (Jenna) and Cherith Brown (Benjamin); her great grandchild Rilliam Brown; her sister Joan Sanders (late Ronald) of Louisville, Kentucky.; and also Richard Hoffman (Tara) of La Porte, Indiana..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the First Pentecostal Church (1930 Boyd Blvd, La Porte, IN 46350). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Pentecostal Church in La Porte.
