With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eloise H. Cala of Munster, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband James R. Cala. She is survived by: her children, David Cala (Susie) of Indianapolis, Donald Cala (Diana) of Middleboro, MA, Kathleen Park (David) of Munster, Amy VanderMolen (Jerry) of Elmhurst, IL and Peter Cala of Munster; her grandchildren, Kathy, Andy, Caleb, Joshua and Abby; her great grandchildren, Ella, Jeremiah, Lilly, Londyn, Dottie and Nova; and her brother Kenneth Honderich (Teri) of Oak Park, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Village Church (14849 W 93rd Ave, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Elmwood Cemetery (1413 169th St, Hammond, IN 46324).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to The Pacific Garden Mission, https://www.pgm.org, which Eloise supported and was blessed by for many years.
