With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Mark Hernandez of Munster, Indiana, who passed away on July 21, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn Hernandez; and his brother Chris Hernandez. He is survived by: his wife Tammy; his sons, Jason Gootee (Emilee) of Lowell, IN, David Hernandez of Rhode Island and Harrison Hernandez of Munster; his grandchildren, Nicole Raebig, David Hernandez III, Marlee Gootee, Charlee Gootee and Autumn Hernandez; his father Javier Hernandez of Hammond; his siblings, Howard Hernandez (Estella) of California, Marilyn Stigall of Munster, Greg Hernandez of California, Susan Richardson (Thomas) of Crown Point, Steve Hernandez (Mona) of Tennessee and Laura Hernandez of Hammond; and his mother-in-law Irene Carty of Clinton, IN. He is also survived by his family, his lifelong friends as well as his friends.
