We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2023, at the age of 90, Barbara Jean Koufos of Munster, Indiana, born in Hoopeston, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Longfellow and Alma Mae Longfellow (Jaynes); her husband James P. Koufos; and her siblings, Robert, Louise, Margorie, Mary, Betty and John.
She is survived by: her children, Maria McShane (Niall), Peter Koufos (Karla Frenche), Michael Koufos (Amy) and Steven Koufos (Cassandra Viles); her granddaughters, Anne Massie (Ben), Mallory Sandberg (Derek), Kara McShane (Joshua Junker), Sophia Tilzer (Noah), Emily Radford (Matthew), Olivia Doherty (Michael John), Samantha Koufos and Stella Koufos; her great grandchildren, Teagan and Barrett Massie; and her brother Daryl Longfellow (Wilma).
