She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kane and Ellen Kane; her husband Robert Perry Hatfield; and her siblings, Elaine Hadcock, Robert Kane and Gary Kane.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Hatfield (Kate) of Beckley, WV and Amy Johnson (Doug) of Valparaiso, IN; her grandchildren, Annika, Nolan and John; her siblings, John Kane (Margaret) of Los Angeles, CA, Ronald Kane (Susan) of Little Falls, NY and Cynthia Ferjanec (Greg) of Clifton Park, NY; and her sister-in-law Dr. Susan Koch. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Barbara's name to Hospice of the Calumet.
