It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rosa E. Bales of Muncie, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 93, on March 27, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Stephen and Mabel Stephen; her husband Roy Bales Jr.; her son Jason Bales; and her siblings, Jake, Denzel, George, Floyd Stephen, Naomi Alfrey and Helen Mizner.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Applegate (Dave) of Yorktown and Diana Bell (Rollie) of Muncie; her grandsons, Mark Ransom (Connie), Brad Ransom (Cinde) and Chad Rose (Cathy); her great grandchildren, Chelsea, Ashley, Toni, Caleb and Ian; and her sister Margeret Stemen (Al). She is also survived by step-grandchildren, step-greatgrandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel (2215 S Broadway St, Yorktown, IN 47396). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gant Funeral Homes – Yorktown Chapel (2215 S Broadway St, Yorktown, IN 47396).
