He was predeceased by: his parents, William Perry and Etta Mae Hughes (Richey); his wife Wilma Fay Hughes (Phipps); and his siblings, Bill Hughes, Marie Clark and Charline Gollifer.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Hughes Jr. (Trysh), Kenny Hughes (Carla) and Michael Hughes (Shell); and his sister Sherry Russell (Wesley). He is also survived by five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Parson Mortuary (801 W Adams St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
