He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Edward and Jane Crystal Strunk (Graham); his siblings, Kathy Kern and David Strunk; and his brother-in-law Randy Kern.

He is survived by: his cousin Randy; his wife Lucy Strunk; his children, Daniel, Chad and Kim; his siblings, Linda Kern (Clarence), Rick Strunk, Shirley Smith (Kenny) and Connie Shaw (Bill); and his aunt Martha Binford. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
