He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Hiatt Sr. and Juanita Louise Hiatt (Irlan). He is survived by: his wife Joan Hiatt (Roysden); his children, Desiree Hiatt, Wright and Chad Hiatt; his grandchildren, Drew Wright (Queahn) and Hayley Evelyn (Tate); his great grandchildren, William and Margot; his sister Leslie Cross (Mark); and his pet Molly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Elm Ridge Funeral Home & Memorial Park (4600 W Kilgore Ave, Muncie, IN 47304). The military honors will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
