She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oscar and Dorothy Phyllis Newton (Ricks); and her son Charles Robert Brown. She is survived by: her children, Rev. Todd Brown (DaRhonda) and Denise Williams (Joseph); her siblings, Phillip Newton (Sarah) of Killeen, TX, William Newton (Alvena) and Regina Allen; and her grandchildren, Benjamin Brown (Amy), Brittney Wellman (Luke), Danielle Bradford (Aubrey), David Brown, Joseph Brown, Jordan Brown (Tiffany) and Anna Brown. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
