She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hammond and Cora Hammond (Hines); and her great grandchild Gates Pottorff. She is survived by: her husband Richard Kurtz (Dick); her son Kent Kurtz (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Laken Pottorff (Greg), Carmel and Dalton Kurtz (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Palmer Pottorff, Collins Pottorff and Theodore Kurtz.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Glad Tidings Church (3001 S Burlington Dr, Muncie, IN 47302). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
