Noel B. Sparks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Noel B. Sparks of Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on November 4, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Sparks and Wyona Sparks (Lewis); his former wife Edna Lee Willoughby; his wife Rachel Loughmiller (Walters); his stepdaughter Shirley Smith; his grandson Joseph Sparks; his great grandchild Erik Sparks; his great great grandchild Jensen Maritime Ehmer; and his siblings, Buel Sparks, Frank Sparks, James Sparks, Monnie Castle, Beatrice Easton, Dixie Burch, Dorothy Bradley and Janice Sparks.
He is survived by: his daughter Nola Sargent Albany (Bob) of Indiana; his sister-in-law Brenda Sparks Morehead of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Dan Sparks (Amanda), Heather Rodocker Indianapolis (Andrew), Beth Smith, Mike Sargent and Teresa Sargent; his great grandchildren, Callen Sparks, Ada, Tilly Rodocker, Casey Nichols and Evan Bullard; his great great grandchild Emory Clark; his stepchildren, Mary Rose (Bob), Pat McAllister (Rissa) and Mike McAllister (Michele); and his close friends, Ivan and Rebecca Case. He is also survived by several step grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Parson Mortuary (801 W Adams St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
