He was predeceased by: his parents, Luster Dean and Lora Mae Murphy (Miller); his son Eric Murphy; and his siblings, James, Charles, Joe and Bonnie.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Murphy; his son Dusty Allen Murphy; his daughter-in-law Mikala Rich; his grandchildren, Dusty Elizabeth, Dalton and Eerilyn; and his siblings, Mary Burchfield (Carl), Wanda Worley (Danny), Lary Murphy (Kim), Brenda Taylor (Daniel), Paula Crowley and Hugh Dickison.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Parson Mortuary (801 W Adams St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
