He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard DuBois (MaryEllen) and Burness Oliver (Bertram); his nephew Andrew Whitacre; and his niece Allison Perry. He is survived by: his wife Vana; his children, Eric DuBois (Laura), Amy Kreegar (Jeff) and Jami Kreegar; and his siblings, Pam Cochran (Bill), Norma Whitacre (Ernie), Michelle Keating (Francis "Fizz"), Renee Oliver, Ric Oliver and Bill Oliver. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Garden View Funeral Home (10501 IN-3, Muncie, IN 47303). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
