She was predeceased by: her brother Carl Spolarich; and her grandparents, Thelma Glandon, Andrew Spolarich, Kenneth and Margie Hill.

She is survived by: her parents, Steve Spolarich and Jackie Spolarich; her husband Wes Thornburgh; her daughters, Chloe, Gi and Skylee Thornburgh; and her sisters, Renee Spolarich and Fabrianne Kendall. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Memorial contributions may be given to a scholarship fund in Michelle's memory. Checks can be made to Yorktown High School with a memo of Michelle Thornburgh Scholarship Fund.
