It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michelle Renee Smith of Muncie, Indiana, born in Elwood, Indiana, who passed away on October 1, 2024, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Deena Smith (Ford); and her grandparents, Albert, Joan Ford, Orvial Smith and Nema Smith.
She is survived by: her father Howard G. Smith of Kokomo; her sisters, Melanie Sanders (D. J.) of Muncie and Marlena Washington (Matt) of Muncie; her aunt Becky Ford of Marion; her uncles, Lowell Smith of Anderson, Ron Smith of Gas City and Harold Smith (Darlene) of Frankton; her nieces and nephews, Alexis Shaver (Braxtin), Shelby Sanders, Gabriellah Sanders, Samantha Brown (Gage), Jessica Washington, Cameron Vest and Ken Washington; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Marley, Elliot and Jasper. She is also survived by several cousins; many close friends; and numerous extended family.
