With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Dean Turney of Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on September 27, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert P. Turney and Dorothy Turney (Wood); his wife Carolyn Turney (Upchurch); and his sons, Reverend Lawrence Turney Jr. (Larry) and Kevin Turney.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Missy Turney (Reese) of Yorktown; his grandchildren, Lauren Gidcumb (Zach) of Yorktown, Evan Turney (Carolyn) of Mooresville, Aaron Turney of Yorktown and Hayle Turney of Yorktown; his great grandchildren, Hunter Turney, Ellie Gidcumb, Kade Gidcumb, Carson Turney and Ben Gidcumb; and his close friends, Angel Northcutt, Randy Duncan and Laura Lyons. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
