He was predeceased by: his parents, George Chester Rust and Amy Catherine Robbins-Rust. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his siblings, Sid Rust (Nancy) and Mary Rust-Razor (Brad); his daughters, Jennifer Leaird (Dan) and Johanna Wolfe (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Ian, Maclaine, Aidan, Declan Leaird, Paxton and Emmett Wolfe.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory - Washington St. Chapel (415 E Washington St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Delaware County Historical Association, 120 E Washington St, Muncie, IN 47305.
