He was predeceased by: his daughter Angela Callahan; and his siblings, Eddie, Jack Gooding, Marcia Jackson and Carolyn Harrell.
He is survived by: his daughter Rachel Delaney; his brothers, Jay Gooding (Gloria) and Jerry Gooding; his grandchildren, Tamara Waters (Josh), Keith Callahan, Lori Callahan, Erikah Choate (John), Kiersten Delaney, Austen Delaney and Madison Delaney; and his son-in-law Jimmie Callahan. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
