It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Louise (Cary) Jones (Muncie, Indiana), who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rayburn Cary and Nellie Cary (Holdcraft); her sister Norma; her brother-in-law Wayne Janeway; her son-in-law Steve Sharkey; and her former husband John W. Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Sharkey, Joy King (Ron), John Jones (Wendy), Steve Jones (Keilla) and Paul Jones (Teresa); and her grandchildren, Jason Sharkey, Andy Sharkey, Holly Gouge (Shane), Dustin Jones (Amanda), Lauren Vance (Justin), Bristi Frahm, Clayton Mitchell (Rhea), Evan Mitchell (Alex), Miranda Culver (David), Tiffany Jones and Troy Jones (Taylor Hutto). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; one niece, and two nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Elm Ridge Funeral Home (4600 W Kilgore Ave, Muncie, IN 47304). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
