He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Modglin and Estella Modglin; his wife Nora; and his siblings, Albert, Charles, Thomas, Richard, Robert Modglin, Phyllis Modglin and Virginia Parker.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Missy; his son James D. Modglin II (Jennifer); his granddaughter Cassandra Jade Modglin (Cassie); his siblings, Donnie Modglin (Pam), Sylvia Tucker (William) and Charlotte Logan; his close friend Melissa Hollars (Missy); and his nieces, Ashley Meadows and Sara Berryman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Parson Mortuary (801 W Adams St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
