He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Kinsey Showalter and Jesse Lloyd Showalter; his wife Sue Greer Hartley; his stepdaughter Brenda Hartley West; and his grandson Mark Ringlespaugh.
He is survived by: his friend Church; his close friend Barbara Teal; his children, Alison Ringlespaugh (Dan) and James Showalter Jr. (Vicky); his stepson Don W Hartley Sr. (Cathy); and his grandchildren, Ryan Ringlespaugh, Lacey Ringlespaugh, Don W Hartley, Jr., Michelle Hartley Stone, Mia Showalter Faulkner and Isaac Ray-Showalter.
