It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Lee Tobias (Muncie, Indiana), who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Tobias and Ella Mary Etta Tobias (McCoy); his wife Ilean Gregory Tobias; his sisters, Ella May MacFatridge, Aileen Wrestler, Geogianna Layer and Patricia Loser; and his son-in-law Don Shroyer.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Shroyer (Mike Grubbs), Terri Garringer (Ron) and Jack Tobias (Lora); his brother Jay Donald Tobias (Diane); his grandchildren, Travis Shroyer, Nicole Wright (Tom), Jeremy Garringer (Kyleigh), Julie Garringer, Anji Hines (Troy), Ashley Turner (Chais) and Dustin Tobias (Lindsay); his great grandchildren, Mark Garringer (Hailey), Collin Garringer, Leah Garringer, McKenzie Garringer, Brooke Finchum (Chris), Mason Shroyer, Emily Hines, McKenzie Hines, Dillon Hines, Taylen Turner and Parker Turner; and his great great grandchild Shelby Garringer.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory - Washington St. Chapel (415 E Washington St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
