He is survived by: his children, Jeff Slusher (Kara) and Donna McCown; his sisters, Lillie King and Linda Shoemaker (Larry); his sister-in-law Barbara Slusher; his grandchildren, Erica Ruegg (Ben), Erin Slusher, Jordan Slusher (Ben) and Michael McCown; and his great grandchildren, Haley, Patrick, Natalie, Waylon, Oliver and James.
In lieu of flowers, Ernie's family requests donations be made to the Shady Hammock Baptist Church located at 1155 Shady Oaks Drive, Lake Wales, FL 33898.
