Eleanor J. Stowe Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eleanor J. Stowe (Muncie, Indiana), born in Mount Carmel, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Eleanor farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Eleanor is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Basil and Frances Eleanor Prather (Case); her husband Richard; her daughter Rebecca Bosley (Stowe); her siblings, James Prather, Harold Prather, Virginia King and Nancy Parton; and her sister-in-law Margaret "Peggy" Brockmeyer (Stowe).
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Danzell (Hank Ingles), Cheryl Yoars (Jim) and Marcia Jacobi (Tim). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
