She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnie Thompson and Mary Del Thompson (Emory); her daughter Lonelle "Nell" Johnson; her siblings, Nora, Annie Laura and Ananias; her son Sylvester "Syl" Holt; and her sons-in-law, Lionel Johnson and Sylvester Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karman (Roger), Brenda, Audrey and Shellie; and her cousin Lillie "Wheat" Johnson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren three nieces and a nephew.
