She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Thomas and Jane Thomas; and her grandchild Alexis Swift. She is survived by: her husband Steven Swift; her children, Jeromiah Swift (Angie) of Bowling Green, KY, Brian Swift (Melinda) of Scottsville, KY and Kristen Swift-Downs of Muncie, IN; her siblings, Richard Thomas (Mary) of Muncie, IN and Debbie McKillip of Muncie, IN; and her grandchildren, Hunter Swift, Garrett Swift, Brinley Swift, Coulter Swift and Peyton Downs.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Garden View Funeral Home (10501 IN-3, Muncie, IN 47303). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
