Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dick leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy MacDonald and Ada MacDonald (Piper); and his son Rick MacDonald. He is survived by: his wife Peggy MacDonald; his son Dan MacDonald; his grandson Alexander MacDonald "Xander"; and his close friend Jonathan Nichols.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Muncie Mission, 1725 S. Liberty Street, Muncie, In. 47302.
