She was predeceased by: her parents, Herb King and Mary King; and her husband Cecil McShurley. She is survived by: her siblings, Dale King (Marlene) and Helen Northcutt of Muncie; her sons, Bruce McShurley (Cay) of Columbia, TN and Scott McShurley (Cindy) of Nacogdoches, TX; her grandchildren, Heather Davenport (Jamaal) of Thompsons Station, TN, Jon McShurley (Bethany) of Hendersonville, TN, Stan McShurley (Haylee) of Austin, TX, Stacy Seefeld (Jason) of Lubbock, TX and Stuart McShurley of Houston, TX; and her great grandchildren, Aidan McShurley, Clair Davenport, Tristan McShurley, Audrey Davenport, Caroline Seefeld and Brooks Seefeld. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory - Washington St. Chapel (415 E Washington St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
