Delight I. McCoin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delight I. McCoin in Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley D. Hummer and Ilena Bernice Hummer-Ely (McClish); and her siblings, Betty Ritenour, Harold Banter, Donald "Rabbit" Hummer and Raymond "Buck" Hummer.
She is survived by: her children, Monty McCoin (Linda) of Hartford City, Sherry L. Conatser of Hartford City, Rhonda Cousins of Hartford City and Rod McCoin (Suzanne) of Hartford City; her grandchildren, Brittany Powell (Tyler), Braxton McCoin (Jessica), Stacey Banter (Kris), Kristi Parnell, Marisa Conatser, Heather Casterline (Matt), Lindsey Thomas (Donnie), Chad McCoin (Kari) and Darcy Pierson (Clint); and her great grandchildren, Kaelynn, Owen and Luke.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Keplinger Funeral Home (509 N High St, Hartford City, IN 47348). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
