He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Galliher and Harriet Boyce Galliher; his brother Robert; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Galliher and Tom Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hunger (DePauw University); his children, Mike Galliher (Cathy) of Muncie, Sharon Kucharski (Neal McCann) of Charleston, SC, Kathy Locke (Jon) of Decatur, IL and Jim Galliher (Betsy) of Ft. Wayne, IN; his grandchildren, Jennifer Galliher, Patrick Galliher (Liza), Julia Peeples (Hunter), Kelly Kucharski, Julie Kucharski, Jayne Kucharski, Madeline Locke (Zach Schwartzman), Emily Gotlund (Kurt), Annie Lowell (Josh), Jack Locke, Lucy Galliher, Tom Galliher (Leila Harris), Sarah Galliher and Grace Galliher; and his sister Genie Brown of Millers Creek, NC.. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
