He is survived by : his daughter Mary; his son-in-law Gary Vannatta; his close friend Ruby Riley; his grandchildren, Tyler Riley (Brittany), Trenton Riley, Keesha Riley, Travis Vannatta, Rebecka Vannatta, Isabella Riley-Vannatta and Sophia Riley-Vannatta; his sister Alpha McIntosh; and his great grandchildren, Willow Riley, Ivy Riley and Rylynn Routh.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parson Mortuary (801 W Adams St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
